MISSION
The mission of Basu Museum and Cultural Center is to play a leading role in educating and promoting the understanding of African American history, culture art and tradition through research, interpretation, exhibitions and collections for the enrichment of the public and to show the co-relation between African Americans and other world cultures and to inspire people to not only respect their own culture, but the culture of others.

VISION
Basu Museum and Cultural Center's vision is to foster connections and constructive conversations among various cultures both inside and outside of our center.
